The workshop is for participants with some previous TIG experience or initial classes at BARN. It is an opportunity for practice and personal instruction on projects or technique.  There will be an opportunity to work with aluminum as well as steel and to work with thinner materials.

It is an opportunity to begin a project with professional guidance.  Participants are expected to assist one another and share their knowledge.  The format is open and flexible depending on the desires of the participants.

The workshop will include a review of the equipment and safety protocols in the welding studio at BARN.

Students must wear long sleeves and long pants of natural fiber.  Dress warmly, the welding studio may be cold.

Additional Materials fee: $10.00 for gas, wire, and practice coupons or scrap, and will be added to your total when you register online. If paying by check, please be sure to include the materials fee.

Participants will supply their own project materials.  Practice materials will be available in limited amounts as part of the workshop. Additional materials (steel) for projects are available at cost to participants of $1.25 per pound.
