About

Tools covered include the cold saw, horizontal and vertical bandsaws, hand-held bandsaw, hand-held plasma cutter, drill press, welding clamps, magnetic angles, and die, angle, and bench grinders. Participation in our welding and project classes, and in Open Studio events, is based on students' ability to safely and comfortably use hand and stationary power tools. All welding shop participants will greatly benefit from attending this class prior to working in the shop for the first time.

  • If you have questions, please contact instructor Henry Sharpe.
