It’s time for Celebration in the Jewelry Studio! 

Make your own Winter Solstice Crystal Bracelets

Join us on the Winter Solstice for a inspirational evening of creating jewelry with meaning.  We will discuss the healing properties of gemstones, which gemstones are best for chakra healing, and choosing stones that combine the energy and intention to help you achieve your desired outcome.

Each person will make 3 personalized bracelets to keep for themselves or to give as a handmade gift.  No jewelry experience needed for this class.  

Enjoy some music, aromatherapy, some herbal teas, and some Ayurveda influenced treats while you craft your bracelets.

Tools for the class will be supplied by BARN. There is a $30 material fee.

Ages: Ages 14+ Welcome.

Instructor Bio:

Karin Lee Luvaas is a local Bainbridge Island artist and jeweler. With an art degree in encaustics, painting and metal sculpture, Karin has studied under acclaimed jewelry masters Michael Boyd, Kent Raible, Petra Class, and Sarah Graham and achieved Graduate Jeweler status under Alan Revere of the world renowned Revere Academy of San Francisco, California.  Karin is also a GIA certified Graduate Gemologist and holds a Jewelers of America Bench Jeweler Technician certificate.

Karin Luvaas enjoys volunteering as a studio monitor and is active on the BARN Jewelry/Fine Metal Arts steering committee.
