WORKSHOP ON ALUMINUM MIG WELDING

There is a prerequisite for this open studio. Please see below.

This is a cooperative learning and practice workshop on aluminum MIG welding in an open studio format. Participants will work together to understand and practice technique using a spool gun. A monitor will provide guidance and assistance. 

 

Details

There is a materials fee of $30 for metal, gas, and filler wire that is included in the cost of the workshop.

Prerequisites

Introduction to MIG (Metal Inert Gas) Welding #1

Class Policies

  • Students must wear natural fiber clothing, long sleeves, long pants, closed toe shoes (preferably leather or cotton), no stretch fabrics. (Auto-darkening sunglasses are not helpful)
