About

Hey there! Are you a writer interested in connecting with other writers? The first Writers Studio Coffee and Chat will be scheduled April 13, 2024 at 10 am. We'll supply coffee and cookies. You provide enthusiasm and experience.  For this first session, we’ll talk about the writing we do and our evolution as writers. Come to this no-commitment discussion with ideas about what you would like these gatherings to be (format, theme, etc.) and the timing and frequency of our coffee chats. (All writers are welcome!)

Instructor
Ann Lovett

Ann holds a Master of Fine Arts in printmaking from Tyler School of Art, Temple University, in Philadelphia and a Master of Fine Arts in poetry from Warren Wilson College in North Carolina. Her visual art practice includes artists books, printmaking, and photography, and her work has been exhibited nationally and internationally. She has been the recipient of New York Council on the Arts and New York Foundation for the Arts grants, numerous artist residencies, and is represented in museum and individual collections. She taught photography at State University of New York in New Paltz, for 33 years and moved to the Puget Sound area recently from Ashland, Ore., where she also was a volunteer instructor with the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute. In the Print & Book Studio, Ann can certify people to use the Takach etching presses.
