About

Learn to use a variety of woodworking tools as you construct a sturdy cedar nesting box for owls.

You'll start by learning the basics of what a nest box for owls needs to offer, then draw a customized design and make a list of the pieces you need. Using mostly hand tools, you will cut the pieces. Then you will learn some of the different ways to assemble your box.

If there is time, you will also be able to decorate your box with a wood-burning design or other embellishment.
