About

Have you ever wanted to create your own characters?

In this introductory class, students will learn different techniques for designing and sketching their own characters. We’ll talk about shape language, facial expressions, proportions, and doing a character turnaround.

Students will work using various traditional mediums on individual pieces of paper that we will then bind into a sketchbook. This class is open to all skill levels, the only requirement is to enjoy drawing and be interested in creating their own characters.
