Instructor

Courtney G. Jones is a 30-year veteran of the film and television industry who has long been an advocate of the kind of accessibility that mobile film making brings. Not only does Courtney serve as head of development for Steve Zahn & Rick Gomez’s company, Macaroni Art Productions, but he has produced and directed feature films, commercials, documentaries, and series - some of which have been shot on mobile. He brings a wealth of technical and creative know-how to the classroom.

In the past, Courtney has co-hosted a film-making podcast featured on Apple Podcast & YouTube called the Mobile Creator Podcast. He has also been interviewed on other podcasts.

When Courtney is not writing, producing, filming, editing or teaching, he’s typically daydreaming about flying, living on a boat, or trying out new recipes in the kitchen.
