Make wonderful new pieces of jewelry by recycling old cast-off treasures!  Students will make an assortment of creative bracelets, earrings, necklaces, and more. The instructor will provide a variety of old jewelry and beads as well as new findings like chains and earring wires to use during the class. Students are encouraged, but not required, to bring in old jewelry to add to the collection. All the tools needed will be provided for use during the class. 
 

Details:

  • This class is for students ages 8-10. Registration will close on November 2nd.
  • There is a $20 materials fee included in the price of the class. 
  • When you register your youth, please enter their name in the Youth's Name field and enter the parent/guardian email address for "registrants email". All reminders and important information will go to this email.

Instructor Bio:

Lucia Olson is a fixture at BARN. You will often see her at the front desk sorting through jewelry for the Women’s Shelter Project while she greets BARN visitors. Lucia is a 25 year Bainbridge Island resident where she raised her daughter. She is a grandmother, silversmith volunteer, teacher, pet sitter and all around brightener of days. She has been volunteering at BARN since 2017 and is excited to be teaching youth classes for the Jewelry Studio.
