About

Carbonara is an impressive-yet-simple pasta recipe that is creamy and comforting. With practice, it will take you only 20 minutes to accomplish this easily adaptable dish for any ingredients in the fridge. It starts with an egg, thin pasta, and Parmesan!

This dish will be in one pot where you will sauté, boil, and stir your way to a delicious meal. You'll do their own mise en place (a French term meaning all ingredients are measured, cut, peeled, sliced, grated, etc., before you start cooking), so minor knife skills will be taught, as well. The use of seasonal ingredients to enhance a recipe is covered, too! The recipe is adaptable for vegetarians.

Details

A materials fee of $20, included in the price of the class, will cover everything you need.

Project

You'll make a dish that serves two to three people and have plenty to take home and share!

Class Policies

  • Ages 12-16 and up are welcome.
  • You must wear closed-toe shoes to class.
  • You must be registered (no drop-ins).
