About

This is a beginner-friendly class. In the first session, you will choose wood strips to lay out and learn how to properly glue and clamp wood strips together. You will also have a chance to make it your own by designing a shape or other features you like.
In the second session, you will cut out the shape with a bandsaw, fine-tune the shape with large sanders, and work on edge profiling with files and orbital sanders. Time permitting, you can apply a food-safe butcher block oil that will bring out the beauty of the wood and protect the peel.

And you are now required to make pizza for the Woodshop with your new peel!
